Written for the screen by George Tabori and William Archibald, and starring Montgomery Clift, Anne Baxter, Karl Malden, and O.E. Hasse. After hearing the confession of a murderer (O.E. Hasse), a priest (Montgomery Clift) finds himself accused of the same crime and must choose between exonerating himself or keeping his vow. 23 pages, saddle stitched, 11 x 17 inches. Very Good plus condition, lacking ad supplement. Faint horizontal fold crease at the center of the wrapper and pages. A bit of separation at the spine ends and center (at the fold), with some light toning at the wrapper edges. "Underrated, meaningful Hitchcock concept film." Selby (1984) 185.
