Jacket has a couple of tiny, nearly undetectible closed tears, else a lovely copy. An uncommon first edition, basis for (and released simultaneously with) Stanley Kubrick's 1968 science fiction classic, written for the screen by Kubrick and Clarke based on Clarke's short story, "The Sentinel."
