Los Angeles: Selznick International Pictures / Vanguard Films, 1945. First Draft script for the 1947 screwball comedy, "The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer" (here under its working title, "Suddenly It's Spring"), directed by Irving Reis, written for the screen by Sidney Sheldon, and starring Cary Grant, Myrna Loy, Shirley Temple, and Rudy Vallee.
A late but important entry in the screwball comedy genre, wherein Shirley Temple (a high schooler at this point) falls for playboy artist Cary Grant, immediately causing multiple problems. Winner of the Academy Award for Best Screenplay.
