Publisher's black cloth quarter-binding, with deep orange cloth-covered boards and gilt titles. About Very Good, with some brief shelfwear, light fray at the crown. Black cloth faded at the spine as often found, but gilt still bright and intact. The author's second collection of stories, including "Turnabout," which was made into the successful Howard Hawks film, "Today We Live" (with script co-written by Faulkner, his first Hollywood credit), starring Joan Crawford, Gary Cooper, Robert Young and Franchot Tone.
