Gardner, Erle Stanley
The Case of the Curious Bride
New York: William Morrow, 1934. First Edition. A Fine copy in a bright, Very Good dust jacket, with several modest chips, the largest being at the top of the spine, affecting the word “The.”
All pre-World War II Gardner first editions in dust jackets are very scarce, and this title is no exception. INSCRIBED by the author on the front endpaper: "To Noni / With best from the boss / Erle Stanley Gardner." According to Dorothy Hughes' biography of Gardner, Noni Bibler was one of Gardner's early assistants. The fifth Perry Mason mystery. [Book #123980]
