New York: William Morrow, 1937. First Edition. Warmly INSCRIBED by the author on the front endpaper: "To Noni / With best from the boss / Erle Stanley Gardner." According to Dorothy Hughes' biography of Gardner, Noni Bibler was one of Gardner's early assistants.
Very Good in a Very Good dust jacket. Dampstain along the fore-edges of the boards (and conversely, along the flap folds of the jacket at the verso) and top right corner of the text block. Jacket has two chips, one at the crown and one at the bottom rear panel, neither affecting any titling. Despite noted flaws, a bright copy.
