Hillerman, Tony
Listening Woman
New York: Harper and Row, 1978. First Edition. Near Fine in a Fine dust jacket. INSCRIBED by the author on the half title page: "For Bruce Taylor / With best regards / Tony Hillerman." Laid in is an autograph note signed on Hillerman's stationery that reads: "Dear Bruce / Thanks for the book, the magazine (and for being such a good friend). Got to meet Martin Cruz Smith couple of weeks ago and here [sic] his adventures getting Gorky Park written and published. He's as plain and unassuming as the proverbial old shoe and you'd like him. / Regards / Tony."
Some loss to the titling on the backstrip (a problem endemic to this title), else Near Fine in a Fine dust jacket, with none of the usual spine fading. An attractive copy of the author's fourth book, and the third Joe Leaphorn mystery. [Book #124439]
