Roald Dahl adapted the film to the screen himself, based on his book, and made numerous revisions. This draft is credited to him on the title page. Director Stuart is best known for this film, but spent most of his career producing and directing documentaries, the most notable being "Wattstax" (1973).

Pages and wrapper Very Good with modest general wear, certainly well used but supple and in good shape, bound with two gold brads.
