Gardner, Erle Stanley
The Case of the Fabulous Fake
|
|
New York: William Morrow, 1969. First Edition. Laid in is a slip from the author, typed, concerning his hospital stay of one month, and an explanation of being unable to inscribe a book fresh off the press, as was his wont. The note expresses the author's apology for not having inscribed this particular book, due in part to a tremor which left him utterly weak.
The 44th Perry Mason mystery, and last to be published during the author's life. Jacket by Dick Swift.
Very Good plus or better in a Near Fine dust jacket. Binding slightly cocked, and an owner inscription on the front pastedown. Jacket slightly rubbed and toned. [Book #127866]
