New York: Viking Press, 1960. First Edition. First in the author's praised trilogy of nautical thrillers, the other two being "Aground," and "Dead Calm." Jacket art by Denver Gillen. Like other hard-boiled authors, much of his output came in the form of paperback originals.
Very Good plus in Very Good plus or better dust jacket. Spine slightly toned, with a slight lean, a touch of shelfwear, and evidence of erasure to the front endpaper. Jacket is bright and complete, with some of the usual fading to the spine and toning to the verso, and light shelfwear. [Book #127938]
