Penn, Irving
Moments Preserved

New York: Simon and Schuster, 1960. First Edition. INSCRIBED to British theatre critic Kenneth Tynan, whose portrait appears on page 74 of this volume, on the front endpaper: "For Kenneth Tynan / With greetings and best regards / Irving Penn." Penn's signature on his most famous title is uncommon; associations of this significance are quite scarce.
Near Fine in a Very Good or better example of the dust jacket. In a bright, Very Good plus example of the slipcase, better than usually found. Jacket is very lightly soiled here and there, with some minor chipping at the spine ends, affecting a portion of the "P" in "PENN" at the crown. Slipcase is very nice, with light wear at a few extremities, but with none of the usual splitting or extensive wear.
