New York: Harrison Smith and Robert Haas, 1932. First Edition, in the first issue binding and jacket. Faulkner's seventh novel, an exploration of the lasting effects of racism and misogyny, one of four of his novels consistently ranked among the best of the 20th century.

Slight lean, else Fine with a bright, unfaded topstain in a Near Fine dust jacket and Very Good example of the scarce tissue wrapper. Jacket spine is lightly faded, with a touch of nicking and rubbing to the extremities. Tissue wrapper is lightly chipped, with a small dampstain to the front panel, and a three inch tear to the top of the same.
