An intensely detailed, photo-illustrated history of the cinema houses in Baltimore, covering the period from their inception to the early 1970s when the book was published. Photo-illustrated throughout. The first edition is extremely scarce, this being only the third copy we have handled. Tiny white stain at the bottom of the front panel, and a small, extremely faint crease at the top right corner of same. One of the most significant documents ever produced regarding the golden age of American cinema palaces.
Near Fine in large wrappers, tiny blemish at the bottom front panel, bound in black tape as issued. [Book #84674]
