Hardcover. First printing of this edition, Near Fine in a bright, Very Good+ dust jacket. There are two variant jacket illustrations for this title, with no priority, this one being the one with Jolson singing infront of a jazz combo. The first movie tie-in edition for the iconic 1927 film starring Al Jolson (shown in illustration on the front jacket panel without black-face). Hardcover. First Edition, first printing. The extremely uncommon British photoplay edition for Harold Lloyd's 1928 film, "Speedy." Considered one of the best of Lloyd's full-length films, "Speedy" is notable for its location shooting in the New York City of 1927 and a five-minute appearance by Babe Ruth. Near Fine in a Fine dust jacket. Some foxing to the top page edges, else an extremely fresh copy, with the jacket showing virtually no fading or wear. The only example we have ever encountered.
