Jacques Tati (director, starring)

Paris: Jolly Film, 1967. Original French grande poster for the 1967 French film.

Monsieur Hulot first came to the attention of the world during his beach vacation in "Monsieur Hulot's Holiday" (1953), then reappeared in a modern French neighborhood in "Mon Oncle" (1958). The third feature finds him in the city, where complexities unfold, revolve, deconstruct, and reconstruct before his eyes.

A masterpiece of French cinema. Using his own money, director Jacques Tati meticulously constructed a second Paris outside of Paris for the third—and most magnificent—of the four Hulot films.

47 x 63 inches, folded as issued. Near Fine, with light toning on the folds.
