Cinematographer Philip Lathrop's working copy, with his manuscript name at the top of the title page, manuscriptic ink annotations throughout, and one page of manuscriptic notes bound into the script between pages 136 and 137. At the back of the script there are eight pages of detailed equipment orders, all relating to photographic hardware and associated shipping charges to various locations.

Based on the 1969 novel by Philip Roth. A young man sits in a session with his psychoanalyst as he recounts his childhood, his family and his problems with women.

Yellow tiled wrappers. Title page present, dated August 3, 1970, with credits for director Ernest Lehman, and novelist Philip Roth. 169 leaves, with last page of text numbered 149. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good, bound with three gold brads. In a custom quarter leather clamshell box.
