New York: Random House, 1949. First Edition. A play that became the basis for the blistering and important 1951 film noir, directed by William Wyler and starring a young and very angry Kirk Douglas.
Fine and unread in a Near Fine dust jacket. A collector's copy, with spine coloring and book topstain both a deep red; one of only a handful of such copies we have encountered. A touch of rubbing along the jacket hinge folds, otherwise an extremely bright, fresh example. Extremely scarce in this condition.
