Behind the Motion-Picture Screen
New York: Scientific American Publishing Co., 1919. First Edition. INSCRIBED by the author in the year of publication on the front endpaper: "To my good friend - / J. Andrew White / with my sincerest compliments / A.C. Lescarboura / Sept. 16, 1919."
White was the founder and editor of "Wireless Age" magazine, gaining fame in 1921 for aiding in the live broadcast of the heavyweight championship prizefight and ostensibly becoming the first sportscaster.
Very Good lacking dust jacket. Light bumping and rubbing at the extremities, a tiny closed tear at the crown, toning to the spine, and light soil. A presentable copy of this early film reference.
