Chicago: P.F. Volland and Co, 1913. First Edition. INSCRIBED with a drawing and dated in the year of publication by Briggs on the first blank: "To -- / with best wishes "like everything" / from "Skin-nay," his friends and Yours / Mr. Briggs." Lacking the front endpaper, else Very Good without dust jacket. Book has a blue stain to the front cover, rubbing at the extremities, particularly the corners, with a few mild splashes and light soil. Briggs was a prominent cartoonist and lecturer, while Nesbit is primarily remembered for his poetry on Freemasonry. A very presentable copy, uncommon signed.
