Scattershot

New York: St. Martin's Press, 1982. Final corrected manuscript for Bill Pronzini's novel, "Scattershot," ultimately published in book form by St. Martin's Press in 1982. Included is a typed letter signed by Pronzini, on his stationery, addressed to Robert O. Robinson at the Mysterious Bookshop in New York, stating that this the only working manuscript in existence.

Ribbon copy typescript, with holograph pencil corrections by the author throughout. Also included is the author's completed submission draft, xerographically duplicated and with no corrections.

Working draft: 209 pages. Submission draft: 212 pages. Near Fine. In a custom chemise and slipcase, with rounded spine, red leather title labels, titles and rule in gilt.
