Revolt in the Big House

Glendale, CA: Allied Artists, 1958. Original pressbook for the 1958 film noir.

A prison riot goes wrong when a racketeer's (Gene Evans) attempts to manipulate his cellmate (Robert Blake) go unheeded. One of Blake's numerous outsider roles; he played fugitives, murders, and gangsters, as well as figures within the system, such as his stint as Tony Baretta, an undercover police detective. He would eventually be found liable for the wrongful death of his wife, Bonnie Lee Bakley, in 2005.

One sheet folded twice as issued, 11 x 17 inches. Very Good plus, with a faint horizontal fold crease at the center of the wrapper and pages, several short closed tears, and a few tiny chips.
