Universal City, CA: Universal Pictures, 1969. Draft script for the 1970 film.

A sweet but simple blacksmith in a Western boomtown saves his earnings and sends them back East in what turns out to be a scam for a mail-order bride. The scam is revealed when the whole town turns out for the beauty's arrival by train, which never comes. Eventually the giant, downcast, decides to leave town and the townspeople convince the new saloon girl Sadie to play the part of the mail-order bride in order to retain the services of the blacksmith. This was to be the final film of Dan Blocker, who died prematurely from complications from gall bladder surgery.
