Based on Cleo Lucas' 1931 novel, "I Jerry Take Thee Joan." Joan (Sidney) might just be the woman to bring newspaperman Jerry (March) out of his drunken stupor, long enough to write a play. Jerry meets a new girl upon the success of his play, but decides that a sober life with Joan is a better way.
An anti-alcohol film set in Chicago, released during the final year of Prohibition.
