Adapted from the newspaper comic strip, a style similar to that of R. Crumb and "The Katzenjammer Kids," created by Rudolph Dirks. DeBeck died in 1942 but not before advancing the world of comic art and humor to new heights, and contributing a panel of his Sunday strip to the 1939 World's Fair time capsule.

Very Good plus in illustrated card stock wrappers. Moderate spine lean, heavy production wrinkle to the spine, and light rubbing overall.
