Craft is an award winning conductor and musicologist who has led most of the major orchestras in the United States. His relationship with Stravinsky is legendary, not just in terms of documenting the composer's life, but in that Craft conducted the world premieres of many of Stravinsky's later masterpieces. In 2002 he received the International Prix due Disc at the Cannes Music Festival.
