Based on Emeric Pressburger's 1961 novel, "Killing a Mouse on Sunday," about Manuel Artiguez (Gregory Peck), a famous bandit during the Spanish civil war, who has lived in French exile for 20 years. He returns to visit his ailing mother, unaware that a trap has been set by a Spanish police officer (Anthony Quinn).
A story set in France and Spain, shot on location in the Pyrenees mountains in France.
