A wealthy father becomes a Broadway producer in hopes of fulfilling his daughter's aspirations to become a dramatic thespian. Unfortunately the dramatic play he chooses to produce is so bad that it becomes a hit with the audience who perceives it to be a hilarious comedy. A spinoff of a radio show of the same name that aired from 1941-1947.
