Based on Alexander Klein's 1958 novel, starring William Holden as an ex-American citizen living in Sweden who gets blackmailed into spying for the Allies during WWII. He is reluctant to help until his relationship with a beautiful German double agent causes him to rethink his decision. The great Klaus Kinski even makes a brief appearance.

A story set and shot on location in Denmark, Sweden, and Germany.
