Penny Princess

London: General Film Distributors / Conquest Productions, 1952. Collection of 38 vintage black-and-white still photographs from the 1952 UK film. Mimeograph snipes affixed to the versos of about half of the stills, and a few with ink annotations on the versos.

A small country in Europe faces bankruptcy, after surviving only by evading its debt. A rich American visits and agrees to save the place by purchasing the entire country, but he dies prematurely, and his next of kin, a young woman with high ethical and democratic standards, resumes control.

8 x 10 inches, some stills slightly smaller, with no borders as issued. Faint toning, else Near Fine.
