N.p. N.p., 1945. Set of three vintage photographs from the short-lived Broadway production of Du Maurier’s play, adapted from her novel, produced following the success of the 1940 film. The play ran at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre from January 8 to February 3, 1945, for a total of 20 performances.

Each of the photographs is rubber stamped with a unique number, and each is stamped at the verso: "Daphne Du Maurier's / REBECCA / ORIGINAL NEW YORK PRODUCTION," with Bramwell Fletcher's name in ribbon copy type just below.

All three photos are portraits of Bramwell Fletcher, who played the lead role of Maxim De Winter. One is double weight, with stamp of photographer on verso. All three have the stamp of the production on verso. The play ran for only 20 performances, and ephemera related to it is rare.

The first, and to date only Broadway performance of any play written by Du Maurier.

8 x 10 inches. Very Good to Near Fine.
