New York: Random House, 1986. First Edition. Copy belonging to literary agent, Candida Donadio, with her rubber stamp on the front flyleaf. Donadio was vital in promoting Joseph Heller's "Catch-22" (1961) and Philip Roth's "Goodbye, Columbus" (1959). The literary agency still operates to this day, as Donadio & Olson, Inc., working with authors like Ian MacMillan and Chuck Palahniuk.

Author's first book. Basis for the 1990 Shirley Sun film.
