"Masculine Feminine" was Jean-Luc Godard’s first examination of 60s youth and culture, whom he described as, “the children of Marx and Coca-Cola.” Teenager Paul (Jean-Pierre Leaud) works as an interviewer for a research firm while living with aspiring singer Madeleine (Chantal Goya), and with two additional young ladies joining the nocturnal festivities. Brigitte Bardot and French pop icon Francoise Hardy appear in cameos.
Set in Paris, and shot there on location.
