Based on an original story by Claude Brule and Claude Martin, subsequently based on Sheridan Le Fanu's 1871 novella, "Carmilla," a story of a young woman's relationship with a female vampire, predating Bram Stoker's "Dracula" by twenty-six years. Carmilla (Stroyberg) learns that she shares ancestral blood with vampires, and becomes obsessed with finding the truth. She no sooner succumbs to the lure of vampirism, and tries but cannot quench her insatiable thirst for human blood.

Shot on location in Italy.

12 x 18.75 inches, folded as issued, 6 pages plus an 8-page, saddle-stitched insert. Very Good plus, with a horizontal fold at the middle, and light fraying and rubbing.
