A low-budget sci-fi adventure produced by Roger Corman. Hawk (Edwards) is a former space soldier turned pirate, who leads his crew to steal a freighter and in the process accidentally kidnaps a young boy.
Released during the space opera heyday, in the wake of "Star Wars," and generally panned by critics for its reuse of special effects footage from Corman's 1980 film, "Battle Beyond the Stars."
