Stantoons 34: Kinky KKGB / Horror in San Guana

New York: Eric Stanton, 1987. First Edition. From the estate of Andrew J. Offutt, who contributed to the magazine under the pseudonym Turk Winter.

During the 1960s, Eric Stanton illustrated covers for sleaze paperbacks published by Stanley Malkin under his Satellite Publications company. Some of the paperback imprints included After Hours, First Niter, Wee Hours, and Unique Books, the same imprints that feature work by fellow fetish artist Eugene Bilbrew). Malkin soon began to publish, in partnership with Stanton, illustrated stories known as Stantoons, with Satellite customers receiving the earliest issues. Malkin eventually gave Stanton the mailing list for Stantoons, and Stanton began to publish and distribute on his own until his death in 1999. Every issue specialized in erotic bondage, torture, rape, humor, transsexuals and even espionage.

Andrew Offutt wrote as Turk Winter for several Stantoons issues, this being one, and presumable for subsequent issues not bearing the Winter credit.

Very Good plus in illustrated wrappers. Saddle-stitched digest. Foxing and toning to the edges, with a faint corner stain.
