Beverly Hills, CA: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer [MGM], 1932. Pre-production Dialogue Continuity Draft script for the 1933 film "Hell Below," here under the working title "Pigboats". Copy belonging to Felix Feist, an uncredited member of the crew, with his name on the front wrapper in holograph ink. Studio File Copy, rubber-stamped on the front wrapper. Brief annotations in holograph pencil throughout.

Based on the 1931 novel "Pigboats" by Commander Edward Ellsberg, a US Navy officer who wrote a number of popular naval novels and stories as something of a second career.

Light blue titled wrappers, noted as Dialogue Continuity on the front wrapper, rubber-stamped copy No. 9742 and production No. 1911, dated 9/19/32, with credits for writer Ellsberg, screenwriters Schrock and Doyle, and director Conway. Title page integral with front wrapper. 141 leaves, with last page of text numbered 141. Mimeograph duplication. Pages and wrapper Very Good, with a few leaves loose but present, bound with two gold brads.
