Semple's notable film credits include "Batman: The Movie" (1966), "Fathom" (1967), "Papillon" (1973), "The Drowning Pool" (1975), and "Never Say Never Again" (1983), as well as the television series, "Batman" (1966-1968).
Slated as a role for Peter Cushing, as stated in Christopher Gullo's 2004 biography of the actor, "In All Sincerity... Peter Cushing."
