One of the most visually striking family films ever made, in which a boy and a black stallion are the only two survivors of a ship wreck. On their shipwrecked island they form an unusual bond, and when the boy is rescued he refuses to leave without the horse. The two continue their unusual relationship Winner of an Academy Award for sound editing and nominated for another two.
