A jarring look at the runaway children of Seattle's street culture, as commissioned by LIFE magazine in 1983. Mary Ellen Mark and reporter Cheryl McCall follow the lives of several disenfranchised youths, including a prostitute, a dumpster diver, and a drug runner, all under the age of 18. The article was followed a year later by an acclaimed documentary directed by Mark's husband, Martin Bell.
Near Fine and unread in illustrated wrappers. Wrappers very lightly rubbed, with a touch of creasing at the heel.
