Culver City, CA: RKO Radio Pictures, 1944. Two vintage black-and-white glamour photographs of Osa Massen. RKO Radio Pictures rubber stamp on the verso of one still, with a credit for photographer Alex Kahle, and dated 1944, when Massen starred as Helena in Herbert J. Biberman's "The Master Race."

Massen began her career as a newspaper photographer but soon found fame in Hollywood as an actress, notably for the films noir "A Woman's Face" (1941) and "Deadline at Dawn" (1946). She also starred opposite Lloyd Bridges in the firs postwar space adventure, "Rocketship X-M" (1950), and made guest appearances on television shows like "Perry Mason," "Wagon Train," "The Ford Television Theatre," and "Robert Montgomery Presents."
