A rouge cop fed up with the ineffectual justice system decides to take the law into his own hands in this 1978 exploitation thriller. Jack Palance stars as the steely Lt. Jim Wade, an L.A. cop who strikes a deal with a mobster in order to uncover the identity of the notorious serial killer, "The Slasher." Director Charles Martin's final film, he passed away only a few years after its completion.
