All Odds Against Casanova

N.p. N.p., 1974. Draft script for an unproduced film.

An unproduced English-language remake of the 1966 Czech film "Posledni Ruzz od Casanovy" or "The Last Rose of Casanova," by the same screenwriter, then as Frantisek Daniel and now Americanized as Frank Daniel. The legendary seducer of women Casanova is living out his elder years in a castle as the librarian, where he spends all his free time talking of his glory days to the Count for whom we works, until a gorgeous woman Valerie stays with them and mocks the old man for his dated fashion choices. He believes sheer gallantry can seduce a woman and she believes it is pure emotion that will seduce a woman, so the two of them make a bet to see who is correct.
