Basis for the 1928 MGM film, directed by W.S. Van Dyke, and starring Monte Blue and Raquel Torres, the first MGM film released with a pre-recorded soundtrack, and the first to have Leo the Lion roar in the introduction. Winner of an Academy Award.

Very Good plus, with a bump to the upper front board, in a Very Good dust jacket. Jacket spine lightly toned, with light chipping to the edges, and a touch of silverfish damage to the rear flap fold.
