N.p. Artes Films, 1952. Collection of eight vintage studio still photographs from the 1952 French film. Mimeo snipe affixed to the versos of four stills. Based on Jean-Paul Sartre's 1946 play, "The Respectful Prostitute."

A racially charged film, based on the play which caused Sartre to be deemed "anti-American" for its incisive critique of racism in America. A prostitute is compelled to testify against an innocent African American in a murder cover-up.

8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus. Light ware and curling overall, scattered manuscript ink and pencil annotations to the versos.
