Neil Paterson is an Academy Award-winning screenwriter from Scotland, who won the award for Best Adapted Screenplay for "Room at the Top" (1959). Additional films he wrote for include "High Tide at Noon" (1957), and "The Spiral Road" (1962). He also had a successful career as a soccer player in his native Scotland.

Pink titled self wrappers, noted as 5TH DRAFT on the front wrapper, rubber-stamped copy No. 14 and production No. 3649, dated February 27, 1961, with credits for producer Henry Blanke, and screenwriter Neil Paterson. Title page integral with front wrapper. 141 leaves, with last page of text numbered 130. Mechanical duplication, with green and pink revision pages throughout, dated variously between February 20, 1961 and February 27, 1961. Pages Very Good plus, front wrapper Good only (now preserved in archival mylar, rear wrapper Very Good plus, bound with two gold brads.
