Seiter, and starring Phillips Lord, Effie Palmer, and Bette Davis, which, in turn, was based on Lord's NBC Radio show "Sunday Evening at Seth Parker's," featuring stories revolving around the life of a country preacher in backwoods New England.

Fine and unread in a Very Good plus dust jacket lacking the publisher's wraparound band. Vintage bookstore label on the front pastedown. Jacket with a short closed tear to the rear hinge fold and a chip and accompanying crease to the rear panel.
