An early pioneer of computer music, James Dashow is also a composer of electro-acoustic music and opera. "Burst!" is a piece for soprano, with electronic accompaniment, and text from Jack Kerouac's 1965 novel "Desolation Angels." OCLC locates a single copy, and the piece is not listed in the Charters Kerouac bibliography, nor the Bradford Morrow catalog of the Walter Reuben collection.

19.5 x 13.5 inches. Six leaves, bound with a plastic comb binding in wrappers. Comb binding cracked and chipped, with some teeth missing. Wrappers lightly faded and soiled, pages lightly toned. Very Good overall.
