An unusually titled film, alternately known as "Murder by Illusion," follows the staged 'murder' of a mob informant and its chaotic aftermath. Written by novice screenwriters, and originally intended for television, the film was warmly received by viewers and critics alike, and has achieved cult status over time.

Set in New York. Shot on location in Switzerland, UK, and USA.
