Paris: Self published, 1958. Original single weight black-and-white photograph taken by cinematographer Vincent Rossell, featuring Polish Army general Wladyslaw Anders, as he greets the young Stefan Casimir at his baptism ceremony, flanked by Madame and Colonel Czarnecky. Mimeo snipe, Rossell's rubber stamp, and brief notation in manuscript ink, on the verso.

Rossell had a career that consisted mostly of still photography, presumably he was on-hand to capture this candid moment after working on a film during the late 1950s. His film credits include "Club of Women" (1956), "La Parisienne" (1957), "Back to the Wall" (1958), "The Longest Day" (1962), "charade" (1963), and "The Other Side of Midnight" (1977). General Anders was a member of the Polish government-in-exile in London and received countless awards for his service in both World Wars.

7 x 9.25 inches, with a short border at the bottom. Very Good, with curling, brief creases, light rubbing.
