An American gangster joins the British Army in order to evade the police. Released in Great Britain under the title O.H.M.S., which signifies "On His Majesty's Service." Military propaganda from Britain's War Office made with full Army Council cooperation. American director Raoul Walsh was chosen after his success with "What Price Glory?" in 1926 which helped boost recruiting for the US Marine Corps.

Set in New York and London, shot on location in London.
